The Furuno SS60-SLTD/20 is a stainless steel thru-hull transducer engineered for hulls with a deadrise angle between 16° and 24°. Rather than requiring a wedge or filler block, the element inside the housing is pre-angled 20° to compensate for hull deadrise. An arrow molded into the top of the housing indicates proper keel-side orientation — critical whether the transducer is mounted to port or starboard — ensuring the tilted element sits at the correct angle once installed. Built-in water temperature sensing and dual-frequency operation make this a capable choice for anglers and mariners running compatible Furuno sounders.
