The Furuno Power/Data Cable serves double duty for the FCV585 and FCV620 fish finders as a power cable assembly, and can also function as an NMEA0183 data cable for the GP33. When connecting to the GP33, the fused section of the red and black wires must be removed first — in that configuration the cable carries data only and cannot supply power to the GP33.
