The Furuno NavPilot 711C Control Unit brings adaptive, self-learning autopilot technology to a wide range of vessels. Its color day/night graphic display delivers strong sunlight viewability while preserving night vision in low-light conditions. Dynamic parameter optimization — covering speed, trim, draught, tide, wind, dead band, and weather — happens continuously, storing refined settings in system memory for increasingly accurate course-keeping over time. Optional SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST modes interface directly with the vessel's hydraulic hand steering system, and the FishHunter mode enables square, zigzag, circle, orbit, spiral, and figure-eight maneuvers around sonar fish targets or radar bird targets — and doubles as a Man Overboard (MOB) function. CAN bus Plug and Play connectivity simplifies installation and integration with NavNet 3D, FI-50 Instrument series, and other Furuno navigation equipment.
