The Furuno CA82B-35R is an FRP tank-mounted transducer with a wide selectable frequency range of 65kHz–110kHz and 2kW output, designed for demanding commercial and recreational sounder applications. Compatible with the FCV295, FCV292 (88kHz only), FCV1150, FCV1100, FCV1200, DFF3, and BBFF3, it delivers high sensitivity even when the frequency is shifted ±10% to suppress interference when paired with the FCV1100/1200. The CA82B-35R can be installed in the tank of a CA88B-10 or CA100B-10R — note that when retrofitting these or other transducers, directional pattern and sidelobe characteristics will differ from previous installations, which may affect the sounder image.
