The Furuno B265LH is a bronze thru-hull CHIRP transducer designed for use with Furuno's CHIRP broadband fish finders. Unlike traditional sounders that operate at fixed discrete frequencies with short-duration pulses, CHIRP technology sweeps a wide range of frequencies within a single long-duration transmit pulse — delivering 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water than a conventional fish finder. Combined with Furuno's digital signal processing, the result is dramatically sharper fish and bottom detection. The B265LH ships complete with a high-speed fairing block and connects via a 12-pin connector.
