The BG SW 18000 is Daiwa's heavy-duty saltwater spinning reel built around a full aluminium body that keeps weight in check while delivering the rigidity needed for big-water pursuit. An ATD drag system paired with a machined aluminium handle rounds out a platform designed to handle serious line classes without drama.
Aluminium Body: Lightweight yet structurally rigid, the aluminium frame resists corrosion and flex under load, giving you a solid foundation for hard-fighting fish.
ATD Drag System: Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag uses a specially formulated grease with low viscosity at rest that thickens the instant the drag engages. The result is reduced start-up inertia and a smooth, consistent drag curve from the moment of hookset through the entire fight.
Machined Aluminium Handle: CNC-machined for precise ergonomics, the handle threads directly into the body for a secure, rattle-free connection under pressure.
