BoatLIFE Git Rot Kit is a two-part liquid epoxy system engineered to penetrate deteriorated wood fibers, saturate them, and restore structural integrity from within. Ideal for tackling rot in transoms, stringers, and cabin roofs on both fiberglass and wood boats, it works by capillary action to reach deep into compromised areas. Once cured overnight, the treated wood can be sanded, painted, drilled, and screwed, and it is fully compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies, and most sealants.

Specifications:

  • Two-part liquid epoxy formula
  • Net volume: 4 oz kit
  • Penetrates and saturates rotted wood fibers via capillary action
  • Wood must be dry prior to application
  • Apply by injecting directly into the affected wood
  • Pot life: approximately 30 minutes after mixing
  • Cure time: overnight
  • Sandable, paintable, drillable, and screwable after cure
  • Compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies, and most sealants
