The Airmar TM185C-HW-MM delivers broadband CHIRP performance in a wide-beam transom-mount package. Operating across a high-frequency range of 150–250 kHz with a constant 25° beamwidth throughout the entire band, it provides roughly twice the bottom coverage compared to standard narrow-beam high-frequency CHIRP transducers. Crisper, larger return images and improved fish detection in the upper water column make this an upgrade worth considering for fiberglass, wood, or metal-hulled outboard and I/O boats in the 25–40 ft range. A Mix & Match cable is required and sold separately.
