The Airmar DST820-PV-N2 is a PSTI-compliant plastic thru-hull smart multisensor combining depth, speed-through-water, and water temperature measurement with secure Bluetooth connectivity and a 235 kHz transducer frequency. Replacing the DST810, it introduces QR-code-based network pairing with a one-time security password, a Gen2 paddlewheel rated from 0.3 to 45 knots, a 5.7 Hz speed output for smoother real-time data, and an integrated attitude sensor for heel and trim readings. Free calibration is handled wirelessly through Airmar's CAST app, which unlocks advanced heel-compensated speed calibration across multiple angles and up to 10 speed entries — capabilities previously requiring expensive PC software.
