The Airmar B164 is a dual-frequency, 1 kW thru-hull transducer built for center-console and trailered vessels with hull deadrise angles between 0° and 7°. Its Tilted Element™ design orients the ceramic arrays within a flush bronze housing so the beam fires straight down — no fairing required. The low-profile housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm below the hull, allowing the boat to sit safely on trailer rollers and bunks without interference. A Mix & Match cable (sold separately) is required to connect to your display.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
  • 1 kW power output compatible with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder
  • 50 kHz element with a 22° beamwidth reaches depths to 549 m (1,800')
  • 200 kHz element with a 6° beamwidth reaches depths to 244 m (800')
  • Patented Xducer ID® technology for automatic transducer recognition
  • Low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25") below the hull — no effect on running performance
  • Tilted Element™ design delivers a perfectly vertical beam without a fairing
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats up to 11 m (36') LOA
  • Also available in stainless steel housing (SS164) for use in all hull materials
