The ACR ResQFlare is a USCG-certified LED electronic distress flare designed to replace traditional pyrotechnic flares when carried alongside the included daytime distress flag. Seven high-efficiency LEDs emit a continuous SOS Morse code flash pattern with 360° visibility at ranges exceeding 6 miles, while IP67 waterproofing and a self-righting buoyant body keep it operational even after going overboard. Two user-replaceable C-Cell alkaline batteries sustain the required 75 cd peak equivalent fixed intensity for 20+ hours — far outlasting any single-use pyrotechnic signal.
