The ACR OLAS Exposure Series MOB Float-On Light is a buoyant, wearable crew tracker that combines OLAS (Overboard Location Alert System) Bluetooth technology with an integrated LED flashlight and water-activated strobe light — offering scalable man-overboard protection for crews of all sizes, including adults, children, and pets. The OLAS app detects a break in its virtual tether within 8 seconds, immediately sounds an alarm, and logs the GPS coordinates of the incident on any paired phone or tablet. A water-activated strobe engages automatically after six seconds of water contact, flashing once per second for up to 20 hours and visible up to 3 nautical miles — a critical asset for low-light recoveries. Solo Mode (requires 2G signal) automatically sends an SMS with GPS coordinates to an emergency contact when boating alone. One phone or tablet can track up to 6 OLAS transmitters simultaneously, and each transmitter can be paired with an unlimited number of devices. The system is fully scalable: add an OLAS CORE Base Station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch to expand monitoring capacity to 15 transmitters, or use the OLAS EXTENDER to push coverage range from 50 ft. to 80 ft.
