Bennett Marine pioneered the electric trim tab back in 1960, and the BOLT Electric Trim Tab System represents the latest evolution of that legacy. Built for trailered boats from 17 to 28 feet, the BOLT replaces aging electric trim tab designs with a sealed, water-tight nylon actuator and concealed wiring routed through the upper hinge -- eliminating the exposed-wire failures and marine growth intrusion that plague older systems. Installation requires no actuator disassembly, and the system runs quieter than competing electric units. Note that a control switch is sold separately, and single-actuator use is recommended since two electric actuators cannot be synchronized on the same tab.
